Dear forum,

As shown in the attached file I have a problem with transp./reflection.

I have an image (.iff) with an alpha channel mapped onto an image plane - next I want the player to be reflected in the floor. Finally I've a shape (the yellow bar) behind the player and I don't want the yellow shape to be reflected in the floor - I achieved this by playing with the Render Stats for that object. BUT now the problem appears.....within the bounding boxes of the player plane I can still se the refl. of the yellow shape on the floor.

I've tried almost any possible settings in the Render Stats and Mental Ray attributes, but nothing seems to help me.....any help would be appreciated.

I'm using MR as render.

Thanks in advance - best Lasse
